CARLYLE, IL. - U.S. Army Reserve Recruiting Command sponsored an event at Carlyle Reservoir, in Carlyle, Illinois, on September 14, 2019. The event demonstrated a civil assistance or humanitarian assistance capability that the Army Reserve can bring as part of its contingency operations overseas, or even here at home in national emergencies. The exercise used members of the 739th Engineer Company (Bridging), Granite City, Illinois, and the 303rd Army Field Hospital, Lake Charles, Missouri. The events were part of a US Army Reserve Expo in Carlyle, that also included a Triathlon. Many racers and local citizens were on hand to enjoy the day's events.
