99th READINESS DIVISION

Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J.

Sgt. Maj. of the Army Daniel A. Dailey (left) joins Col. Frederick D. Thaden, commander of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (center) and Chief Master Sgt. Craig Poling, command chief master sergeant, JBMDL, during the 2016 Joint Base Service member of the Year ceremony July 7. This event was part of a two-day visit to New Jersey’s joint base that included a tour of the base’s key mission and training assets as well as a town hall meeting with Soldiers and Army civilians. A driving force behind Dailey's visit to the base is the Army's number-one priority of readiness, which allows the Total Army to continue to answer our nation's calls, in an increasingly volatile and uncertain world.
