Talladega, Alabama - Warrant Officer Craig Morgan Greer, an Army Reserve Soldier with the 313th Army Band and country music star where he is also known as Craig Morgan performs the National Anthem alongside the 313th U.S. Army Band during the YellaWood 500 pre-race ceremony at the Talladega Superspeedway, Talladega, Alabama, October 6, 2024. Prior to becoming a country music star, Morgan spent seventeen years serving our country in the Army and Army Reserve and enlisted again in 2023, continuing his military career as a Warrant Officer in the Army Reserve with the 313th U.S. Army Band. The 313th Army Band is a U.S. Army Reserve band from Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. Music has been a critical part of the Army's success. Whether it's a ceremonial performance or a concert to boost the morale of Soldiers, U.S. Army Bands members serve their country while making music.
