Sgt. 1st Class Alwyn C. Cashe U.S. Army Reserve Center rededicated to change plaque from the Silver Star to the Medal of Honor

SANFORD, Fla. - Kasinal Cashe White, sister to Medal of Honor recipient Sgt. 1st Class Alwyn C. Cashe, and U.S. Congresswoman Rep. Stephanie Murphy unveiled the new plaque for the Sgt. 1st Class Alwyn C. Cashe U.S. Army Reserve Center, March 25, 2022, in Sanford, Florida. Family and friends gathered for the rededication ceremony to upgrade his medal from the Silver Star to Medal of Honor. Cashe was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor by President Joe Biden at the White House December 16, 2021.
