Medical Support Unit - Europe Participates in Allied Spirit

HOHENFELS, Germany - Civilians working with Medical Support Unit - Europe, the German Forces Joint Medical Service and 30th Medical Brigade practice patient evacuation from the point of injury through the Medical Roles of Care using a medical simulation unit during Exercise Allied Spirit in Hohenfels, Germany, Mar. 14, 2024. This multinational training exercise gathered medical units from the U.S. Army Reserve, German partners and the 30th Medical Brigade to provide NATO Role 2B field operational capabilities including evacuation, triage and resuscitation, treatment and holding of patients until they can be returned to duty or evacuated, emergency dental treatment, emergency surgery and essential post-operative management. The 7th Mission Support Command is the U.S. Army Reserve presence in Europe. Comprised of 26 units across Germany and Italy, the 7th MSC provides logistics and sustainment resources in support of U.S. Army Europe and Africa missions across the theater.
