YAUCO, Puerto Rico - U.S. Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Dustin Shultz, commanding general, 1st Mission Support Command, addresses Capt. Wilfredo Perez Jr., commanding officer, Alpha Company, 35th Expeditionary Signal Battalion, 210th Regional Support Group and 1st Sgt. Memo Santiago, A Co. first sergeant, during a visit to Pfc. Luis F. Garcia Olivares U.S. Army Reserve Center, Yauco, Puerto Rico, Oct. 7, 2017. A Co. is facilitating communication between the Reserve Center and 1st MSC during Hurricane Maria relief efforts. The soldiers from the Army Reserve in Puerto Rico are currently providing support to the local community by purifying water, clearing roads, delivering fuel to hospitals and other very important tasks around the island.
