Keen Edge 22 sharpens Army Reserve readiness

AIEA, Hawaii - U.S. Army Reserve Col Bradford Hughes (far left), Government Functional Specialty Team Chief, 351st Civil Affairs Command, U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne), facilitates the end-of-day synchronization brief with his team during Keen Edge 22, Camp Smith, Hawaii. Held Jan. 26 – Feb. 3, KE22 is a bilateral Japan Joint Staff and U.S. Indo-Pacific Command level post exercise allowing planning and conducting of operations against all domain competitors. KE22 allowed functional specialty team members the opportunity to integrate with interagency partners and demonstrate the knowledge and expertise Civil Affairs Soldiers bring to crisis, contingency, and combat operations.
