Civil Affairs Soldiers deliver Christmas gifts, good cheer in Bucharest

BUCHAREST, Romania - Roxy Sandu, regional leader, Salvation Army, Romania, looks on as Capt. Greg Caruso, team chief, Civil Affairs Team 3231, 432nd Civil Affairs Battalion, Green Bay, Wis., gives two brothers U.S. Army rank patches and U.S. and Romanian partnership stickers on Dec. 21. Through the combined efforts of Civil Affairs Team 3231, Office of Defense Cooperation, U.S. Embassy, 3rd Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, Army Support Activity-Black Sea, Area Support Group-Black Sea Staff, and other Service Members at Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base, not only did 125 children receive clothing and toys, the Salvation Army was able to surpass their overall goal and reached 300 kids with Project Angel Tree this holiday season.
