DECATUR, Ga. - Kyana Nesbitt (right), the Lead Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC) for the 3d Medical Command (Deployment Support), and Phyllis Miller (left), a 30-year experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the Day League Sexual Assault Care and Prevention Center formerly known as the DeKalb Rape Crisis Center, discuss community resources available to military sexual assault victims. Outside of what the resources the military already provides, Nesbitt hopes to build enough community partnerships that will give soldiers and civilians within the 3d MCDS the opportunity to report to facilities closest to their home of record.
