Army Reserve food specialist among finalist at culinary competition

BROWNSVILLE, Texas - U.S. Army Reserve Chief Warrant Officer 5 Pamela Null, the U.S. Army Reserve Command Food Advisor, reviews a dining safety manual with Gayle Swain, a civilian evaluator with the National Restaurant Association, during the Philip A. Connelly competition finals on January 26, 2019, at Brownsville, Texas. The evaluators judged the food service team from the 370th Transportation Company on several categories which included safety, food taste and sanitation procedures. The Philip A. Connelly Program is the personification of food service excellence executed by culinary specialists resulting in the presentation of extremely gratifying dining experiences across all Army food service platforms in garrison and field environments.
