FORT BLISS, Texas - U.S. Army Reserve Maj. Alyssa Stefl, an audiologist and individual augmentee to the El Paso, Texas-based 7413th Troop Medical Clinic, prepares a Soldier for a hearing examination at the Vogel Hall Soldier Readiness and Processing Center in Fort Bliss, Texas, on Jan. 15, 2026. In her off time, she has completed three ultramarathons, logging a personal best record of 85 miles in timed loop races that require competitors to run as many four-mile loops as possible within a 34-hour window.
