‘Warrior Medics,’ ‘Desert Medics’ complete inaugural combined Best Squad Completion 2025

FORT McCOY, Wis. - Army Reserve Cpl. Acasia Lanzaderas, a shower and laundry specialist with the Fort Bragg, N.C. based 7458th Medical Operational Readiness Unit, throws an M69 Practice Grenade at the hand grenade qualification course during the Best Squad Competition 2025 led by the Pinellas Park, Fla. based Army Reserve Medical Command and co-hosted by the Gillem Enclave, Ga. based 3rd Theater Medical Command, in Fort McCoy, Wis., from March 24, 2025, through March 30, 2025. The AR-MEDCOM and 3rd TMC Best Squad Competition amalgamated a variety of military medical evaluations and drills, along with Soldier tasks and drills, as part of a composite contest to determine the best individual Soldiers and their squads in their rudiments and job proficiencies.
