Army Reserve veterinarians augment Operation Walking Shield 2023

FORT BELKNAP, Mont. - U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers from the 7360th Veterinary Detachment (VD), Montgomery, Ala.,and 7350th VD, Joint Base San Antonio - Fort Sam Houston, Texas; conduct an initial inspection on a dog before a procedure during Innovative Readiness Training - Operation Walking Shield 2023 (OWS 2023) at the Fort Belknap Reservation, Mont., Aug. 7, 2023. Led by the Montana Army National Guard in tandem with Fort Belknap Indian Health Service, OWS 2023 is a joint-component, real world mission supported by units from Army Reserve Medical Command, the 807th Medical Command (Deployment Support), Montana Air National Guard, Arizona National Guard and New Mexico Air National Guard to provide medical coverage to both human and animal patients in the Fort Belknap community.
