FORT McCOY, Wis. - The 7301st Medical Training Support Battalion, along with subordinate units of the 332nd Medical Brigade prepare to operate on 'Diesel', a animatronic dog used to simulate realistic training during the Combat Support Training Exercise and Global Medic at Fort, McCoy, Wisconsin. One reason for working on animals in simulation is that there are rarely veterinarians in the field, this helps prepare the field hospitals to treat animals such as military working dogs.
