Soldiers make field hospitals possible

FORT McCOY, Wis. - Spc. Charles Meeks, a U.S. Army Reserve combat medic with the 311th Medical Detachment (Surgical), uses a hammer to drive a tent stake into the ground during a field hospital set up on an improved tactical training base on Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, Aug. 10, 2021. The field hospital was set up as part of Combat Support Training Exercise (CSTX) and Global Medic. The 78th Training Division, in charge of this rotation of CSTX, intends for the exercise to prepare Army Reserve Soldiers for near-peer adversary environments. (U.S. Army Photo by Staff Sgt.
