Soldiers test for Expert Field Medical Badge at Fort McCoy

FORT McCOY, Wis. - 1st Lt. Molly French, a medical-surgical nurse assigned to the Soldier Recovery Unit at Ft. Stewart, Georgia renders aid to Pvt. 1st. Class John Pinnock , a biomedical equipment specialist from the 418th Medical Logistics Company based at Fort Carson, Colorado, on a tactical combat casualty care testing lane at a Expert Field Medical Badge event held May 16-22 at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. This EFBM event is the first hosted by Army Reserve, and offers an opportunity for Soldiers in the medical field to earn the special skill award by demonstrating exceptional competence and outstanding performance in Soldier and medical tasks. Less than twenty percent of candidates pass the challenging test.
