HARLINGEN, Texas - First Lt. Ariel (Garner) Walker and her now husband, Ian Walker, after receiving their commissions and graduating from Georgia Southern University in May 2014. Walker, an Army medical surgical nurse from Columbus, Ga., is serving with an Urban Augmentation Medical Task Force assigned to Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense assistance to the Federal Emergency Management Agency in support of the whole-of-America COVID-19 response
