James Rogers, 85th Support Command, gives a brief to retirees from the 85th Division Association, Nov. 1, 2016, discussing the mission and current roles of the 85th Support Command when the command was a two-star training division up to its inactivation in 2007. The 85th Division Association is made up of former members of the 85th Training Division. The 85th Support Command has a lineage dating back to August 5, 1917 when they were formed as an Infantry Division at Camp Custer, Michigan in preparation for World War I. Next year will be the command's centennial is on August 5, 2017.
