84TH TRAINING COMMAND

FORT MCCOY, Wis. - An Observer Coach/trainer assigned to 1-340th Training Support Battalion, 85th U.S. Army Reserve Support Command, looks on as Soldiers assigned to the 414th Transportation Company, Orangeburg, South Carolina, provide medical attention to a wounded Soldier during a complex attack with small arms weapons on their base at dusk on August 17, 2019 at Combat Support Training Exercise 86-19-04 at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. The Soldiers filled out a casualty card and called in a nine line report to request a medical evacuation. Army Reserve Soldiers traveled to Fort McCoy to participate in the 86th Training Division’s CSTX 86-19-04 during the month of August. Active duty and Army Reserve observer coach/trainers from First Army’s 181 Multi-functional Training Brigade, 85th U.S. Army Support Command, 84th Training Command and 86th Training Division supported Army Reserve and National Guard Soldiers improve their functional and tactical skills by coaching and teaching them about tactical field craft in an austere environment.
