Aprill, who is also a member on the Milwaukee Armed Services Committee, helped organize the event which capped off an entire week of activities for Milwaukee's Armed Forces Week.   Aprill and reservists from the 3/399th, as well as volunteers from the other branches, helped raise military awareness by displaying military vehicles and explaining to civilians their current role in supporting ongoing military efforts around the world. Service members past and present mingled with the crowd throughout the day.
