Maj. Gen. A. C. Roper, the commander of the 80th Training Command (TASS), pins the prestigious Legion of Merit on Brig. Gen. Jason L. Walrath, the outgoing commander of the 100th Training Division Operations Support, in recognition of Walrath's numerous accomplishments during his tenure as the division's commanding general. Walrath took command of the 100th Division back in September of 2014 and will go on to become the Deputy Commanding General - Support of the U.S. Army Recruiting Command. Brig. Gen. Aaron T. Brig. Gen. Aaron T. Walter assumed command of the 100th TD after Walrath formally relinquished his leadership duties during a change of command ceremony at Brooks Parade Field Fort Knox, Ky., Sept. 11, 2016.

Over a dozen students and instructors from the second phase of the 80th Training Command's carpentry and masonry specialist course met with Lieutenant General Charles D. Luckey, the commanding general of the United States Army Reserve, for an impromptu Q& A session at Tactical Training Center-Fort Dix, N.J. July 16, 2016. With numerous courses taught over a twelve month period, instructors at TTC Dix train about 150 soldiers every calendar year in construction, carpentry and masonry, electrical engineering, and plumbing.
