Army Reserve brigades host their first gunnery exercise; train nearly 400 Soldiers

FORT HOOD, Texas - A group of Army Reserve Soldiers from the 360th Chemical Company, 468th Chemical Battalion, 209th Regional Support Group, 76th Operational Response Command practice troop commands and communications as they engage virtual enemy targets during a gunnery scenario at the Virtual Battle Space trainer on Fort Hood, Texas, July 11. Nearly 400 Army Reserve Soldiers from the 415th Chem. Bn. and the 209th Regional Support Group, 76th ORC are currently conducting a variety of gunnery related training at Fort Hood as part of exercise Dragon Fire from June 27 – July 21. The 25-day brigade-led exercise provides an opportunity for the participating Ready Force X units to conduct training and qualification to meet the same gunnery requirements as Operation Cold Steel, while providing a gunnery infrastructure for future qualification events.
