Army Reserve Chemical Company receives prestigious award for excellence

FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. - Army Reserve Capt. Lorenzo Llorente II (right), company commander, 342nd Chemical Company, 472nd Chemical Battalion, 209th Regional Support Group, 76th Operational Response Command, displays a Maj. Gen. William L. Sibert Award plaque at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri June 28, after he and his company first sergeant Sgt. 1st Class John Baptisti (left) were presented the prestigious award at the Baker Theater during the 100th anniversary of the Chemical Corps. This is the second year in a row the 342nd Chem. Co., has won the award which is presented to one company from each component of the Army to recognize excellence in the U.S. Army Chemical Corps and to instill pride while reinforcing mission readiness, leadership, discipline and organizational excellence.
