While headquartered in Houston, its subordinate units are located across the country, so the Facebook-hosted event provided an effective way to connect with those troops. The exercise was part of an effort to demonstrate a system developed by the 75th to allow various military units to conduct certain types of scenario-based ‘war game’ training over computer networks.
