Army Reserve NCO and Daughter Prepare Tax Returns Pro Bono

CORAOPOLIS, Pa. - U.S. Army Reserve Sgt. John Stakeley discusses aspects of a tax return with a Soldier for whom he is preparing the documents pro bono. Sgt. Stakeley has been filing tax returns with a volunteer team based at Robert Morris University for Soldiers, veterans, and local community members for the past five years. This year he was joined by his teenage daughter, Marissa Stakeley. Both are part of the 316th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) of Coraopolis, Pa. The 316th ESC oversees and supports over 8,000 Army Reserve Soldiers across the Northeast.
