FORT PICKETT, Va. - U.S. Army Spc. Ricardo Pagan of Yauco, Puerto Rico, a mortuary affairs specialist with the 246th Quartermater Company shakes off the effects of tear gas after going through protective mask training as part of the Mortuary Affairs Exercise at Fort Pickett, Va., Aug. 17, 2018. The training demonstrates the effectiveness of protective equipment to Soldiers and then shows them what exposure feels like when they take off the masks. Other reserve units participating included the 673rd, 387th and 1019th Quartermaster Companies. The 642nd Regional Support Group oversaw the exercise and had their own Soldiers go through as well.
