The Commander of the 377th Theater Sustainment Command, Maj. Gen. Les Carroll hosted the Commander of the U.S. Army Materiel Command, Gen. Dennis Via during a command visit to Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans Jan. 8. During the visit, Gen. Via received a 377th TSC Command Brief, visited the 159th Fighter Wing from the Louisiana Air National Guard, and received a flight operation brief from the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans. The 377th TSC serves as the largest two-star command in the Army Reserve with a mission to operate as the Senior Army Logistics headquarters capable of planning, controlling and synchronizing operational-level Army deployment and sustainment.
