Army Reserve unit receives active-duty Soldier to command

FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. - Col. Steven Padilla (left), commander of the 11th Military Police Brigade hands the 324th Military Police Battalion colors to Lt. Col. Joel Maxwell (right) during the 324th MP Battalion Change of Command Ceremony here in Fort Hunter Liggett, California. Maxwell is the first active-duty soldier to command an Army Reserve unit according the the Department of the Army Executive Order 139-22 dated May 2022.
