NEW YORK - Lt. Col. Matt Jenkins, commander of 1st Battalion Army Reserve Careers Division based at Fort Devens, Massachusetts, speaks to the Soldiers and their families about their re-enlistment at a ceremony at the Statue of Liberty, New York on September 15, 2018. The 1st Battalion ARCD has been performing ceremonies at historically significant locations throughout the northeast region of the U.S. to provide the Soldiers and the visitors at the locations an opportunity to reflect on America’s history and the importance of the military.
