2025 Best Squad Competition | Full Series

Seventy-five Reserve Soldiers from around the nation compete in the 2025 Best Squad Competition, an annual event bringing together the best Soldiers and squads from across the U.S. Army Reserve to earn the title of "Best Warrior" and "Best Squad" among their peers. 200th MP Command named Best Squad at Army Reserve competition

The 200th Military Police Command’s squad emerged victorious at this year's Army Reserve Best Squad. The squad included Staff Sgt. Christian Leonard, Sgt. Aaron Court, Spc. Serge Fenn, Pfc. Luke Griguolo and Pvt. 2nd Class Seth Stetz, demonstrated resilience and exceptional teamwork to secure the annual top honor. Cpl. Alexander Clark of the 416th Theater Engineer Command was named NCO of the Year, and Spc. Toby Chapman of the 79th Theater Sustainment Command was named Enlisted Soldier of the Year.

Army Reserve Best Squad: The Heart of the Warrior

What forges the heart of the warrior? It's the ability to strive forward when there's nothing left to give, it's the will to pull your team around you when the stress is high. Seventy-five warriors in 15 squads competed to see who the best of the best was. They left everything on the field, and each one proved themselves a warrior. #BSC2025 #ArmyBestSquad

Army service a family tradition

U.S. Army Spc. Brayden Denman, part of the sniper team with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Squadron, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, left, stands with his father, U.S. Army Reserve Sgt. 1st Class John Proulx, the noncommissioned officer in charge of the future operations section with the 652nd Regional Support Group, right, shortly after being promoted to the rank of specialist January 31st at Novo Selo Training Area in Bulgaria. Both Denman and Proulx are Helena, Montana, natives, and are mobilized to Europe in support of Atlantic Resolve. Denman is an Active Duty Soldier stationed at Fort Hood, Texas and his father is a Reserve Soldier with the 652nd RSG, out of Helena. Proulx is serving with the 652nd in Powidz, Poland, while Denman is training with the 1st Cavalry Division at Novo Selo Training Area in Bulgaria.
