Army Reserve public affairs professionals are tasked with telling the Army story in a variety of ways. Photography is a key component. As the year winds down, we take a look back at where they had their lenses pointed and the many ways Soldiers served all around the world in 2023.

If activated for more than 30 days, you may be eligible to access the TRICARE Extended Care Health Option (ECHO): Contact the TRICARE contractor for your region to check eligibility and get assistance enrolling. You DO NOT need to be enrolled in the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP); Active Guard Reserve (AGR) Soldiers will have to be enrolled in EFMP to access ECHO.
From now until the end of influenza season, the U.S. Army Reserve will work with the Reserve Health Readiness Program to implement the 2023-2024 Influenza Prevention Program. The goal is to immunize 90% of eligible Soldiers by January 15, 2024, and 100% by March 31, 2024. Schedule your flu vaccination through the RHRP voucher program, or use your TRICARE benefit at a local pharmacy. The influenza voucher is available for request via the QTC Service Member portal at https://smp.qtcm.com. The voucher can be redeemed at Walgreens once printed from the website. If you need additional options, contact your unit for assistance.
Illinois Army Reserve Ambassador Julie Johnson shares her story about how you can still serve your country as an Ambassador, even without prior military service history. Her grandfather was a great motivator for her, and she talks about how being an ARA is her way of honoring him since his passing. As a chiropractor, she shares how her passion for helping others goes hand in hand with her role as an ambassador, and encourages other like-minded individuals to consider this path.
