BAHRAIN - U.S. Army Gen. Stephen R. Lyons, center, commander of U.S. Transportation Command, receives a mission overview from Royal Navy Cmdr. Ben Keith while walking to the International Maritime Security Construct where the Coalition Task Force Sentinel operates, during his visit to U.S. Naval Forces Central Command Nov. 15. Operation Sentinel is a multinational maritime effort to promote maritime stability, ensure safe passage, and enhance freedom of navigation throughout key waterways in the Arabian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait and the Gulf of Oman.
