Massachusetts cyber unit detachment departs for Southwest Asia deployment

FORT DEVENS, Mass. - U.S. Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Matthew P. Easley, deputy commanding general (sustainment), 335th Signal Command (Theater), gives remarks during a departure ceremony for Soldiers assigned to Detachment 4 Northeast Cyber Protection Center, Army Reserve Cyber Operations Group, 335th SC (T), during a departure ceremony Feb. 7, 2018, at Devens Reserve Forces Training Area, Massachusetts. Detachment 4 is deploying to support missions conducted by the Regional Cyber Center – Southwest, Asia, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. The ARCOG delivers offensive and defensive effects against our adversaries in Cyberspace and empowers Army, joint, and combined maneuver forces in the delivery of kinetic effects.
