GOLDEN, Colo. - U.S. Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Nikki Griffin Olive deputy commanding general, 335th Signal Command (Theater), administers the oath of office to Brig. Gen Matthew Easley during his promotion ceremony Jan. 6 at the Colorado State Patrol Training Academy in Golden, Colo. It is traditional for officers to recite the oath upon promotion. Easley joined the Army after graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1988. He has served in the U.S. Army Reserve for more than 26 years in a variety of leadership positions.
