US Army Reserve chief of staff honored in military/civilian retirement ceremony
In a retirement ceremony held on Jan. 16, 2016, co-hosted by the U.S. Army Reserve and the University of South Florida, Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Talley, Chief of the Army Reserve, recognized Maj. Gen. Luis Visot for his more than 37 years of service to the Army and the nation. During this same ceremony, Dr. Judy Genshaft, President of the University of South Florida System, recognized Visot for his retirement from his civilian occupation after 35 years of dedication to the university and its students where he earned his nickname, ‘Dean of Fun’.
