Army Reserve Soldiers support Joint Task Force Red Hill
In October, more than 30 Army Reserve and National Guard Soldiers arrived at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, to support Joint Task Force Red Hill throughout most of 2023. Known as the Gorilla Crew, the task force provides logistical support and workforce to Code 700 Fuels Department, Naval Supply System Command Fleet Logistics Center Pearl Harbor. The Soldiers assist with operations and maintenance of the fuel distribution systems at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam. Safety/fire watch detail support is also part of the mission with JTF Red Hill.
