3-304th's Competition for Best Warrior
Sgt. Ben Wagner, a Soldier from Charlie Company, and Spc. Griffin Shields, a Soldier from Alpha Company, both from the 3rd Battalion, 304th Regiment (USMA), 104th Training Division (Leader Training), climb over a high wall during the confidence course of the Best Warrior Competition (BWC) at Devens Reserve Forces Training Area, Massachusetts, Oct. 23, 2022. The BWC consists of multiple events demonstrating skills in various Soldier tasks including an obstacle course, a foot march, tactical combat casualty care, 9-Line MEDEVAC, and M249 weapon assembly and disassembly. Competitors also completed advanced land navigation and an Army Combat Fitness Test. The BWC gives these Soldiers an opportunity to enhance and test their skills and prepare for training Cadets at the United States Military Academy during their annual training.
