Fort Hunter Liggett in White House Virtual Tour
A team from Fort Hunter Liggett, California briefed Andrew Mayock, Federal Chief Sustainability Officer for the White House Council on Environmental Quality, and others during the White House Virtual Tour, July 2, 2021. Col. Lisa Lamb, the new FHL Garrison Commander and Jarrod Ross, FHL Resource Efficiency Manager, spoke about the installation's energy resiliency and Net Zero projects. The FHL team was at home station communicating virtually with Mayock and the other participants, including Paul Cramer, Principal Deputy of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment (Installations) and Richard Kidd, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Environment & Energy Resilience), Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Energy & Sustainability), Stephen Austin and Stephen Sullivan of Office of the Chief of Army Reserve, Brig. Gen. Joseph Edwards, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-9; and Maj. Gen. Alberto Rosende, Commanding General 63rd Readiness Division.
