Army Reserve Command Sgt. Maj. Mampre was assigned to the famed Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, who participated in the D-Day invasion of Normandy. Their story was later featured in the HBO mini-series “Band of Brothers”. The purpose of the briefing was to understand the 85th USARSC commanding general’s vision statement of Enhancing Lethality with Superior Service, Proactive Support and World Class Trainers, while creating a shared understanding of the command relationship, where they are as an organization, and where the command is heading.
