ARMEDCOM and Winn Army Community Hospital: Building readiness for the total force
Maj. Gen. Mary Link, commanding general for Army Reserve Medical Command, and Command Sgt. Maj. Wayne Brewster, the ARMEDCOM command sergeant major, met with their Soldiers with the 7201st, 7225th and 7226th Medical Support Units as well as the 7406th Troop Medical Clinic to recognize them for their work in support of the medical Soldier Readiness Processing mission at Mower Processing Center on Fort Stewart, Georgia. Functionally aligned to U.S. Army Medical Command, ARMEDCOM is uniquely capable of simultaneously providing military hospital and clinic expansion, augmentation, blood donor services, dental and veterinary services while remaining postured to provide assistance to civil authorities during an emergency or disaster. Medical personnel from Winn Army Community Hospital were key to ensuring ARMEDCOM units were equipped and ready to execute their training mission at Fort Stewart, Georgia. Courtesy photo by Maj.
