Army Reserve Soldiers sharpen disaster response skills

More than 1000 Army Reserve Soldiers from Task Force 76, 76th Operational Response Command, are currently participating in exercise Vibrant Response 18 at Camp Atterbury, Indiana. The 10-day annual exercise is designed to train the task force units which include chemical, medical, military police and engineers, to react to and provide support to state and local authorities in the event of a National disaster requiring federal response. The exercise includes a command post exercise, as well as security operations, search and rescue, decontamination and medical treatment of injured personnel.
