Reserve Soldiers connect in the Pocono Mountains
Chaplain (Capt.) Charles Ross, currently assigned to the U.S. Army Reserve’s 403rd Civil Affairs Battalion, listens July 21 as 10-year-old Ellie Rusanowsky explains her family sign during a 99th Regional Support Command Strong Bonds family event at the Kalahari Resort in Pocono Manor, Pennsylvania. Strong Bonds is a unit-based, chaplain-led program, which assists commanders in building individual resiliency by strengthening the Army Family. The core mission of the Strong Bonds program is to increase individual Soldier and Family member readiness through relationship education and skills training.
