Troop Construction Commences in Cincu, Romania
Staff Sgt. Michael Sarkkinen, Spc. Dynarious Dunmeyer, and Pvt. Laureece Stevens of Charleston, SC, 1223rd Engineer Company, 778th Engineer Battalion, South Carolina Army National Guard, lay grids during Resolute Castle 17 at Cincu Training Area, Romania, on 17 April 2017. These will mark positions for the corner posts on the Multi-Purpose Covered Shelter. The construction of such projects provides U.S. forces support in training themselves, the objective of which supports the resolve of the NATO alliance in responding to threats within the Eastern European region.
