Army Reserve Ambassador James J. Cardo is President of Independent Lighting & Design. He designs lighting for commercial, industrial, and church projects all over the Southeast. He holds a BA in History from The Citadel and is a graduate of the Army War College. Ambassador Cardo served thirty years in the Army, both on active duty and in the reserves. He is active in a number of community organizations, including the Carolina Freedom Foundation, and the Mecklenburg County Vietnam Memorial Committee.
