Army Reserve Ambassador Thomas G. Anderson is a retired Colonel from the Army Reserve.  During his 32 year career he held numerous positions, starting with his entry into the National Guard in 1968.  He enlisted and was eventually promoted to E-5 and in 1970 he entered into OCS, Commissioned as 2d LT.  He rose through the ranks commanding at the company, battalion, and Brigade level.  He was activated in 1991 for Operation Desert Strom as a Battalion Commander.  His last military assignment was Chief of Staff, 90th Regional Readiness Command.  He earned medals during his career, with the highest being the Legion of Merit.
