Army Reserve Ambassador Beau Ruff retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the U.S. Army Reserve with over 21 years of service in 2021. In the Reserve, Beau served in the JAG Corps and his service included a 12-month deployment to Iraq for which he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. Outside of the military, Beau has been an attorney licensed in Washington State for over 20 years. He was previously a Partner with the long-standing law firm Leavy Schultz Davis in Kennewick. Since 2016, he has worked at Cornerstone Wealth Strategies where he currently serves as President and Director of Planning. Beau is also a columnist who has published over 100 articles on estate, tax, and business planning strategies. Beau is the Past President of both the Benton Franklin Bar Association and the Tri-City Estate Planning Council. Beau is a graduate of Leadership Tri-Cities Class 26. Beau is married to his wife Diana and is active at home with two his two school-age children.
