Command Sgt. Maj. Dennis Jensen assumed responsibility as Command Sergeant Major, 307th Medical Brigade, Blacklick, Ohio on October 1, 2009 following his assignment as Command Sergeant Major, 334th Medical Group, 103rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command. Jensen enlisted in the United States Army December 7, 1970. Following basic and advanced individual training, he was assigned to F Troop, 17th Cavalry, Republic of Vietnam. Throughout his illustrious and nearly 42 year military career, Jensen held every key noncommissioned officer leadership position which included Squad Leader, Section Leader, Platoon Sergeant, First Sergeant and culminating as Command Sergeant Major. His assignments as Command Sergeant Major included Command Sergeant Major, 6th Brigade, 85th Division, Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indianapolis; Command Sergeant Major, 4th Brigade (Field Exercise), 85th Division (Exercise), Fort Sheridan, Ill; Command Sergeant Major, 8-229th Aviation Regiment, Fort Knox, Ky.; Command Sergeant Major, 244th Theater Aviation Brigade and Command Sergeant Major, 103rd Expeditionary  Sustainment  Command. Jensen graduated the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy, Fort Bliss, Texas, in 1994. He has attended numerous military schools to include advanced and senior non-commissioned officers courses. His awards and decorations include Bronze Star Medal with oak leaf cluster, Purple Heart with oak leaf cluster, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal with four oak leaf clusters, the Army Achievement Medal with four oak leaf clusters, the Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with two bronze service stars, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with silver hourglass and "M" device, NCO Professional Development Ribbon with Numeral 4, Army Service Ribbon, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. Jensen earned an Associate of Arts Degree from Vincennes University, Vincennes, Ind. In his civilian capacity, Jensen serves as a fuel systems supervisor for Caterpillar Corporation, Reman Franklin, Ind
