Command Sergeant Major Timothy L. Eddy is a native of Waterloo, IA.  He enlisted into the United States Army in 1986 and attended Basic Training at Ft. Jackson, SC.  On completion of Basic Training, CSM Eddy attended Advanced Individual Training at Ft. Gordon, GA, where he completed the Military Occupational Skill 29N, Dial Central Office/Installers course, and subsequently attended Airborne School at Ft. Benning, GA.  During his 36 years of Active and Reserve service, CSM Eddy served with the 317th Maintenance Company and the 5th Signal Brigade in Nurnberg, Germany, conducting Communications/Electronics repairs and Telecommunication services; Army Signal Command and the Army Intelligence and Security Command, Ft. Belvoir, VA, supervising Dial Central Office and installation services for the base and intel command; 1/320/4/80th Division (IT), Alexandria, VA, serving as an Basic Training Drill Sergeant; 3rd/312th Regiment, 5th Brigade, Ft. Meade, MD, as the Lead Observer Controller for the Signal Communications Team; 311th Signal Command (Theater), Ft. Meade, MD, served as the HHC First Sergeant and the G3 Plans and Operations Sergeant Major; 35th Signal Brigade, Ft. Gordon, GA, served as the S3 Plans and Operations Sergeant Major; 67th Signal Battalion, Ft. Gordon, GA, served as the Battalion Command Sergeant Major; 5-80th Regiment (OD), Abingdon, MD, served as the S3 Sergeant Major/Chief Instructor/Writer; 400th Military Police Battalion, Ft. CSM Eddy’s military and civilian education includes Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Non-commissioned Officer Course, Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course, First Sergeant Course, Sergeant Major Academy and Nominative Leader Course.  CSM Eddy has an Associate’s Degree in Information Systems Technology Networking Specialization and in Business Administration from Northern Virginia Community College, a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Decision Sciences and Management Information Systems from George Mason University.
