USAR Drill Sergeant Naimah Cabbagestalk is a native of Edgemoor, SC, and a graduate of Lewisville High School. She enlisted in the United States Army in 2018 as a 68W Healthcare Specialist and attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, SC, and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sam Houston, TX.
While assigned to the 415th Chemical Battalion in Greenville, SC, Drill Sergeant Cabbagestalk earned the title of 2020 Soldier of the Year at the Brigade level and 2020 Soldier of the Year Runner-Up at the Division level.
USAR Drill Sergeant Cabbagestalk's military education includes Airborne School and the Basic Leader Course, where she graduated on the commandant's list 4th in her class with a 4.0 GPA. She also completed the United States Army Drill Sergeant Academy 1st in her class with a 3.92, earning the title of Distinguished Honor Graduate.
USAR Drill Sergeant Cabbagestalk is a pre-med student on the dean's list at Howard University, working on her bachelor's degree in biology. She has completed Emergency Medical Technician training, Phlebotomy Technician training, and Certified Nursing Assistant training. She is currently employed at the Lancaster Campus of the Medical University of South Carolina.
Her awards and decorations include National Defense Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Army Achievement Medal, Drill Sergeant Identification Badge, Parachutist Badge, and Certificate of Achievement.
