Col. Lisa A. Mullinax

Deputy Commanding Officer, 451st Sustainment Command (Expeditionary)

Col. Lisa A. Mullinax began her military career in July 1992 and attended Basic Combat training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. She served over 4 years enlisted before attending Officer Candidate School and received a commission in 2006.

Col. Mullinax is currently serving as the Deputy Commanding Officer of the 451st Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) in Wichita, Kansas. Past roles include serving as the Rear Detachment Commander of the 561st Regional Support Command in Elkhorn, Nebraska; Deputy Chief of Staff Logistics, Kansas Army National Guard, Topeka, Kansas; Deputy Commander, 235th Regiment (Regional Training Institute), Salina, Kansas; Commander, Kansas Recruiting and Retention Battalion, Topeka, KS; Commander, 1st Battalion (OCS/WOCS) 235th Regiment Salina, Kansas; S3, 287th Sustainment Brigade, Wichita, Kansas; Support Operations Officer, 169th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, Olathe, Kansas; Deputy Support Operations Officer, 287th Sustainment Brigade, Talil, Iraq; Maintenance Officer, 287th Sustainment Brigade, Wichita, Kansas.

Col. Mullinax attended Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, earning a Bachelor of Art degree in Graphic Design and a Master of Arts degree in Environmental Planning and Management and received a Master of Strategic Studies from the Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Her military education includes the Ordnance Officer Basic Course, Ordnance Captains Career Course, Command and General Staff College, Battalion Pre-Command Course, Acquisition Ethics, US Army War College, Defense Support of Civil Authorities Course and Joint Logistics Course.

In 2008-2009, Col. Mullinax deployed with the 287th Sustainment Brigade, Operation Iraqi Freedom. Her significant awards include the Legion Of Merit, Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal with three Oak Leaf clusters, Army Commendation Medal with one Oak Leaf cluster, Army Achievement Medal with three Oak Leaf clusters, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal with 1 Bronze Service Star, Iraqi Campaign Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, Armed Forces Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Meritorious Unit Citation.

Originally from Nebraska, Col. Mullinax resides in Wamego, Kansas, with her husband Mark, daughter Haley, and is a Financial Advisor at First Command in Manhattan, Kansas.
